Robin Fogarty Robin Fogarty is president of RFA: A Robin Fogarty Company, a Chicago-based, minority-owned, educational publishing/consulting company. A leading proponent of the thoughtful classroom, Fogarty has trained educators throughout the world in curriculum, instruction, and assessment strategies. She has taught at all levels from kindergarten to college, served as an administrator, and consulted with state departments and ministries of education in the United States, Puerto Rico, Russia, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Great Britain, Singapore, Korea, and the Netherlands. Fogarty received her bachelor of arts in early childhood education at SUNY, Potsdam, NY, and her masters in instructional strategies from National Louis University in Evanston, IL. She received her doctorate in curriculum and human resource development from Loyola University of Chicago. Robin Fogarty is known as the teachers' teacher. She brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to all endeavors, and is often complimented on her lively sense of humor and personable ways.

Inspire and Motivate

The RFA staff deliver keynote and general session presentations at regional and national professional development events. The keynote address, a formal presentation to inspire minds and to motivate action, provides the overall context and sets the appropriate tone for the occasion. Usually about one hour in length, a keynote is often delivered as an informative and thought-provoking talk. If the session is more than one hour in length, it is considered a "general session" that becomes more interactive and activity-oriented, with group discussions and partner dialogues interspersed throughout the presentation.
